Cookies
——–
Our Site may use cookies — small text files stored on your device — for the following purposes:
– Functional cookies: WordPress, the platform that powers our Site, uses basic cookies to support site functionality (such as remembering form state). These are essential for the Site to operate properly.
– Analytics cookies: If Google Analytics is active on our Site, it places cookies to help us understand visitor behavior in aggregate (page views, session duration, traffic sources). This data is anonymous and not tied to your identity.
Most browsers allow you to control or block cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some functionality of the Site.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
– To respond to your inquiry. When you contact us through the form, we use your name, email, phone number, and message to follow up about your charter inquiry, answer questions, and help you plan your experience.
– To communicate with you. We may follow up by email or phone regarding your booking or a prior inquiry.
– To improve our website. Automatically collected data (server logs, analytics) helps us understand what content is useful and how to enhance the Site experience.
– To comply with legal obligations. We may retain or disclose information if required by law or in response to a valid legal request.
We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
————————————————————————
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our Site uses services provided by third parties. These third parties may collect information about you according to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies:
Google Maps
Our contact page embeds a Google Maps widget to help you find our location at Lambs Yacht Center in Jacksonville, FL. When you view the map, Google may collect information such as your IP address and location data. This is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our Site. Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, and aggregates this into reports we use to improve the Site. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
GoDaddy (Website Hosting)
Our Site is hosted by GoDaddy. GoDaddy’s servers process and store Site data, including form submissions and server logs. GoDaddy’s practices are governed by the GoDaddy Privacy Policy: https://www.godaddy.com/legal/agreements/privacy-policy
————————————————————————
4. DATA RETENTION
We retain contact form submissions for as long as necessary for business correspondence purposes — typically for the duration of our communication with you and for a reasonable period afterward in case of follow-up. We do not retain your information indefinitely and will delete it when it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected.
Server log data is typically retained for a shorter period in accordance with our hosting provider’s standard practices.
You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us (see Section 6 below).
————————————————————————
5. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Regardless of where you live, we respect your right to understand and control your personal information. You may contact us to:
– Access the personal information we hold about you
– Correct any inaccurate information
– Request deletion of your personal information
– Ask questions about how your information is used
To exercise any of these rights, please reach out to us using the contact information in Section 8. We will respond to your request within a reasonable time frame. We do not charge a fee for reasonable requests.
Because we do not sell personal information, there is no opt-out of “sale” process required. We do not share your data with third-party marketing services.

6. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our Site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

7. SECURITY
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you provide to us against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
