Accessibility / ADA Notice
Last updated: June 2026
Cruise Jacksonville is committed to providing a welcoming experience for all guests, including individuals with disabilities. This statement explains our ongoing accessibility efforts for both our website and our charter cruise services aboard the motor vessel VADA.
Website Accessibility
We strive to make cruisejacksonville.com usable by the widest possible audience. Our site is designed with the goal of conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, which includes considerations for:
- Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements
- Keyboard navigation throughout the site
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
- Clear, semantic page structure with headings and landmarks
- Forms with associated labels and error messaging
- Responsive design that works across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We continue to test and improve the site over time, and we welcome feedback that helps us serve our guests better.
Charter & Vessel Accessibility
VADA is a 50-foot Beneteau Swift Trawler operating under United States Coast Guard regulations as an Uninspected Passenger Vessel (UPV). While we make every reasonable effort to accommodate guests with mobility, sensory, or other accessibility needs, certain aspects of the vessel and dock environment may present challenges that are inherent to a recreational marine setting, including:
- Dock access at Lambs Yacht Center involves a floating dock and a step from the dock onto the vessel
- The flybridge is reached by a ladder-style staircase that may not be accessible to all guests
- Interior doorways, the head (restroom), and below-deck spaces are sized to marine standards and are narrower than typical residential or commercial spaces
- Sea conditions and vessel motion may affect guests with balance, mobility, or motion sensitivity
If you or a member of your party has specific accessibility needs, please contact us at the time of booking. We will discuss your needs with you honestly, and where reasonable accommodations are possible, we will make every effort to provide them.
Service Animals
Service animals are welcome aboard VADA in accordance with applicable law. Please notify us at the time of booking so we can prepare appropriately for your cruise.
